Ep. 32 Self Doubt and Self Belief

Self doubt and self belief cannot occupy your mind and the same time.
Where self doubt can come on as a reaction to what has happened, and then cause you to spin out of control, self belief doesn’t happen by chance. Self belief is a choice you make. Whereas confidence can come after you have successfully accomplished something, self belief needs no evidence. It is a choice you make when there is no evidence to prove you can do it. It’s a belief in you…in your ability to perservere and make things happen. It’s a belief in your resiliency and effort. It’s a belief that as long as you keep trying, you will accomplish the thing.
Listen in to hear how self doubt activates the fight or flight response and begins a downward spiral, and how to leverage self belief to turn the spiral around and produce much better and effective action.
