Goals have the power to stress you out or motivate you. They can be too hard, to far into the future, or not in your direct control and all of this can lead to them being stressful or unmotivating.
For a goal to be motivating it should stretch you but still be doable. You should feel a pull toward it rather than scared of it.
There are some goals that if you just do A, B, and C, then you will get the result that you want. But some goals aren’t that cut and dry. So what should we make of it if we don’t reach the goals we set out to do?
