Ep. 35 When You Don’t Reach Your Goals

Goals have the power to stress you out or motivate you. They can be too hard, to far into the future, or not in your direct control and all of this can lead to them being stressful or unmotivating.
For a goal to be motivating it should stretch you but still be doable. You should feel a pull toward it rather than scared of it.

I assert that the purpose of the goal isn’t even to accomplish it. What?! That’s right. I want you to reach your goals all day long, but when you don’t reach it, all is not lost. Listen in to find out how to think about goals you don’t reach.
